KCI Asia-Pacific Team Ends 2018 with Big Showings at Key Conferences
KCI China Wows at the 13th Annual Congress of Chinese Orthopaedic Association
KCI China made a splash at the Annual International Congress of the Chinese Orthopaedic Association from November 21 - 24, 2018, promoting new technologies and products to enhance the user experience with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT).
The four-day congress is China's largest event for orthopedic medicine and one of the largest of its kind in the world. Attended by more than 25,000 participants from around the globe, the event highlighted the latest developments in the field of orthopedics and the integration of traditional and Western medicine.
KCI Australia Wins Big at the Wounds Australia National Conference
In October, the Australian team took part in the Wounds Australia National Conference in Adelaide. KCI’s Global Health Economics Director Leah Griffin traveled from San Antonio company headquarters to present evidence about KCI products from across the care continuum, including a symposium focused on the benefits of Remote Therapy Monitoring (RTM) in NPWT.
Additionally, Dr. Allesandra Doolan from The Health and Technology Advisory Group NSW, presented on the Australian Healthcare Market and the importance of managing patients outside of the hospital setting and the implications for Remote Therapy Monitoring.
KCI India has Strong Showing at Two Key Conferences
KCI India met with scores of clinicians and other industry professionals at the 63rd Annual Conference of Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOACON) and the 53rd Annual Conference of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSICON).
APSICON took place November 22-25, 2018, and featured nearly 700 plastic surgery professionals. KCI India hosted a booth at the conference, allowing the team to meet with and educate clinicians in the field.
IOACON, November 26 – December 1, 2018, presented the team with an opportunity to interact with orthopedic surgeons and exhibit the KCI product portfolio through a booth at the conference.
